Overview
Work Zone Solutions, a subsidiary of the Jaybro Group, specialises in high-performance barrier systems, focusing on safety, innovation, and sustainability. Our products include concrete barriers, steel barriers, plastic barriers, crash cushions, anti-gawk screens and hostile vehicle mitigation systems. The team is growing, and we are excited to continue to build our presence in Western and South Australia. We are looking for our next superstar State Manager to lead this new chapter of success. This is a full‐time role based in Canning Vale, WA, with standard working hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Travel will be required to visit clients in South Australia.
Responsibilities
* Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across key industry sectors (Construction Tier 1 & Rental Businesses).
* Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
* Act as a key point of contact for major projects, tenders, and supplier agreements.
* Resolve issues promptly, working with internal teams to ensure high service levels.
* Work with Internal Sales team for quoting customers.
* Work with and assist Logistics Coordinator for deliveries.
* Train internal staff on Workzone products to ensure pick/pack efficiency.
* Hold accountability for inventory – stock counts, stock transfers, buy back stock ensuring they are in good condition and, if needed, organising repairs.
* Develop and execute a region sales plan aligned to regional and state growth goals.
* Track and analyse sales metrics, ensuring visibility on progress to targets.
* Conduct quarterly reviews with top‐tier customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
* Build strong trusted relationships with top customers, contractors, project partners and other customer groups relevant to the product offering.
* Generate leads and drive new business, keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and market conditions.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a B2B technical sales role.
* Experience with traffic related products (highly regarded).
* Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce).
* Demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships.
* Good commercial awareness with a passion and drive to succeed.
* Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of results.
* Self‐motivated, driven.
* Excellent time management & organisational skills.
