What You'll Be Doing
Provide optimum sterilisation services of hospital equipment and instruments within the Central Sterilising Service Department reflective of current infection control measures and in accordance with statutory requirements and Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
The MNCLHD are currently seeking a Grade 1 Sterilisation Technician to join our amazing team at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
About You
* Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology at TAFE or a willingness to obtain within 2 years.
* Proven ability to perform routine tasks and meet demands under routine supervision.
* Sound computer knowledge and ability to learn relevant programs associated with CSSD
* Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to undertake repetitive tasks
* Ability to participate in a seven day rotating roster with a high proportion of afternoon shifts
