Job Description
Are you a driven and innovative professional with a passion for sales and engineering? We invite you to become a vital part of our Hägglund (HD) team, where you will contribute to the success of our cutting-edge products applied in heavy machinery and mining industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Development: Research and identify new customers in the heavy machinery and mining sectors who can benefit from our advanced products and services, maximizing client potential in designated regions.
2. Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets and budgets, developing realistic annual budgets.
3. Relationship Management: Initiate and nurture relationships with key customers, including design consultants, end users, and OEMs, by understanding and interpreting their specific requirements.
4. Direct Sales Management: Oversee direct sales channels for Hägglund components and drive systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Persuasion and Negotiation: Effectively communicate how our products meet customer needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery, while negotiating tender and contract terms that satisfy both parties.
6. Quotations and Account Management: Calculate customer quotations and manage customer accounts with precision.
7. Technical Assistance: Provide pre-sales technical support and engineering system designs to facilitate production.
8. Sales Analysis: Analyse costs and sales data to inform strategic decisions.
9. Reporting: Prepare sales and marketing reports for management, tracking progress toward goals and making necessary adjustments.
10. Training and Support: Provide training and develop support materials for the sales team, enhancing overall team performance.
11. Marketing Support: Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to promote our products and services.
12. Technical Presentations: Deliver compelling technical presentations that demonstrate how Hägglund solutions meet customer needs in the heavy machinery and mining sectors.
13. Collaboration: Work closely with other sales team members and technical experts to ensure a cohesive approach to customer solutions.
14. Technical Competence: Develop a high level of technical knowledge related to our products, applications, and control systems.
15. Regional Sales Development: Formulate customer solutions related to large hydraulic drives while promoting the entire Bosch Rexroth product range.
16. Market Forecasting: Proactively forecast market sales, growth, and profit in your region.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in sales engineering or a related field, preferably within heavy machinery or mining.
2. Strong technical background, particularly in hydraulic systems or related technologies.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
5. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
