We are seeking an independent member to serve on our Audit and Risk Committee for a period of three years, with an option for a second three-year term.

Responsibilities include:

• Attend four committee meetings per year and participate in reviews of annual reports, audits, financial statements and risk assessments.
• Provide independent analysis and challenge assumptions related to financial, management and governance matters.
• Contribute to the review of internal controls, cyber security practices, and risk management strategies.
• Support the committee in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and experience:

• Detailed knowledge and experience in the operations of a large organisation and public sector management.
• Understanding of financial, management, risk, reporting and governance practices.
• Experience with cyber security practices and risks is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical skills and an inquiring mind.

The committee members are remunerated per meeting.
