The Role
We are seeking a Full‑Time Nurse Manager to join our Practice in Port Macquarie. This permanent position provides leadership and operational management to a team of Nurses, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You will work closely with the Practice Manager to maintain the efficiency of the Treatment Room while training and mentoring clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and effective management to a team of Nurses
* Ensure patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively, including the management of varied clinical procedures
* Coach, train, and mentor clinical staff to support high‑quality outcomes
* Oversee the Treatment Room to ensure optimal staffing and adherence to best practice procedures
* Assist GPs with health assessments, GP management plans, and reviews
* Work with the Practice Manager to understand key operational and financial drivers and manage the team accordingly
About You
* Proven leadership and management experience
* Registered Nurse with previous experience in General Practice or an Acute setting
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A passion for people and a personable, collaborative approach
