About the Role
As a Machine Operator – Oven, you will operate and monitor rotational moulding ovens to ensure consistent, high-quality production. The role involves loading and assembling moulds, monitoring temperatures and cycle times, and safely unloading finished products. You will work in a hands-on manufacturing environment where attention to detail, safety, and reliability are essential.
Your key tasks will include:
* Load moulds with raw polyethylene material and safely unload finished moulded products
* Operate forklift and telehandler to move moulds and components (up to 6.5m long × 3.5m wide, up to 2,000kg)
* Prepare, assemble, and secure moulds for production runs
* Monitor oven cycles, temperatures, and timing to ensure consistent wall thickness and product quality
* Inspect finished products for defects and complete trimming, fitting, and finishing tasks
* Perform routine maintenance and maintain high housekeeping standards
* Work safely in a hot manufacturing environment

* Physically fit and comfortable working around heat and heavy components
* Strong commitment to safety and quality
* Reliable attendance and team-focused attitude
* Competent with hand and power tools
* Driver's licence and reliable transport
* Forklift licence - an advantage but not essential

* Minimum 38 hours per week
* Monday to Friday roster with early Friday finishes at 1:00 PM
