Job Description
The Financial Systems Manager will‐
* Lead the organisation's finance systems strategy, driving digital transformation, automation and continuous improvement.
* Act as the enterprise owner of TechOne, overseeing its roadmap, optimisation, reporting, workflows and vendor relationships.
* Manage day‐to‐day financial system operations, including user access, structures, approval rules, controls and all ledger integrity.
* Oversee system integrations with HR, student systems, banking and other core platforms, ensuring accurate and reliable data flow.
* Deliver strong governance across financial systems, maintaining compliance with accounting, legislative and cyber‐security requirements.
* Lead system upgrades, new application implementations and business continuity/disaster recovery planning.
* Champion change across the organisation by driving digital finance initiatives, training users and building system capability.
* Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to enhance reporting, dashboards and data‐driven decision making.
* Influence senior stakeholders and contribute to major organisational system projects, including workflow automation through TechOne.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Financial Systems Manager will need to meet the below criteria‐
* Has strong, hands‐on expertise with TechnologyOne, including system optimisation, reporting and workflow development.
* Brings solid experience managing financial systems, data governance, controls and integrations in a complex environment.
* Highly analytical, with strong data skills (including SQL) and the ability to translate insights into practical solutions.
* An effective communicator who can engage senior stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly to non‐technical audiences.
* A confident change leader who drives digital transformation, builds capability and delivers high‐quality training.
* Organised, independent and values‐driven, with strong judgement and a continuous‐improvement mindset.
