About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Finance Manager to lead financial operations across our Stanhope and Cobden manufacturing facilities.
This pivotal role is responsible for delivering accurate accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and costing services while ensuring compliance with corporate and local reporting requirements.
Reporting to the GM Commercial Supply Chain & Operations Oceania, you will provide strategic financial insights, drive performance improvement, and lead a team of site-based analysts. Your ability to influence, challenge, and partner with operational leaders will be critical to your success.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Lead and develop Finance Analysts across Stanhope and Cobden.
* Act as the Finance Lead for site leadership teams.
* Provide commercial support to Regional Operations and Site Managers.
* Escalate and resolve finance-related issues at the site level.
* Deliver accurate cost reporting, variance analysis, and product costing.
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
* Support capital project evaluations and post-implementation reviews.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance regional performance.
This role can be based at either our Cobden or Stanhope site, with regular scheduled travel to the alternate location (every 6 - 8 weeks). A fully maintained tool of trade vehicle will be provided.
About You
You bring a strong foundation in financial management, underpinned by advanced Excel capabilities and deep expertise in financial systems. Your analytical mindset and commercial acumen enable you to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights that drive business performance.
With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. You are a proven leader who thrives on coaching and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Above all, you are passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence, always seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and deliver value.
In addition, you will have:
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* CA/CPA qualified.
* 5 + years' experience in a Commercial role within manufacturing, FMCG, dairy, or related industries.
* Strong stakeholder management and leadership in matrix environments.
