About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to join our team as a Diverse Learning Teacher. The successful applicant will provide learning support for students with individualised needs and teach various Learning Support classes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide learning support for students with individualised needs
* Teach various Learning Support classes
* Identify and respond to the additional learning needs of students
* Assist students with additional learning and support needs through targeted interventions, in class, small group and individual support
Requirements:
* Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the school
* Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on established principles
* Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning
* Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across various key learning areas
* Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning
* Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/caregivers and the wider community
