About the role
Join a AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and Sustainability Champion recognised by the World Steel Association. Play a key role in shaping our performance across our reinforcing business. Reporting to the National Engineering and Innovation Manager, this role is responsible for the design, modelling and documentation of reinforcing steel for Australia's major construction projects. You will interact directly with Tier1 and Tier2 customers and internal stakeholders to determine customer needs and ensure the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to each major project.
What you will be doing
* Create and deliver accurate BIM models using Revit or Tekla.
* Implement design changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
* Streamline workflows using BIM technology to improve project efficiency.
* Understand project objectives and advise on engineering solutions.
* Engage with clients and design engineers to achieve optimal outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders.

What you will bring
* Previous experience as a Modeller or Reinforcing Detailer.
* Technical mindset with an ability to read and understand technical drawings to create models.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* A diploma, certificate or degree in civil/structural engineering, drafting, or architecture desirable.
* Experience in modelling software such as Revit, Tekla, ProConcrete or similar.
