As a Design Manager, you will:
* Lead and manage the design process for a high end, multi-storey residential project
* Develop and maintain design briefs and client deliverables, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, statutory requirements, and the Building Code of Australia.
* Collaborate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to deliver innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective design solutions that meet project objectives.
* Oversee safety in design, sustainability targets (e.g., Green Star/NABERS), and ensure buildability and quality expectations are achievable.
* Manage design budgets, timelines, and scope changes while supporting tenders, ECI, and value engineering initiatives.
* Coordinate design documentation, approvals, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project milestones.
What will make you stand out?
* 2-5 years in multi-story, high end residential project experience (preferably on-site experience included)
* A strong client focus, with a track record of delivering on promises and exceeding expectations.
* Exceptional leadership skills, a clear communicator, who sets high standards, and inspires teams through trust and empowerment.
* Strategic thinker who anticipates challenges, makes confident decisions, and thrives in uncertain situations.
* Resilient, positive, and accountable, with a passion for safety and wellbeing.
* Tertiary qualifications in Architecture or a related discipline, and proven experience managing design development and delivery on complex projects.
