Job Summary
The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures, policies, and processes. They will be responsible for implementing and educating on these protocols, conducting regular audits and inspections, and assisting with incident investigation and reporting.
* Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans and procedures
* Conduct thorough site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
* Investigate incidents and develop reports to inform prevention strategies
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry standards
* Provide training and education on safety procedures and protocols to operational teams
* Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or higher qualification
* Proven experience in the civil construction industry or similar high-risk work environment
* Valid driver's license
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Working knowledge of ICAM incident investigation methodology
* Experience with safety auditing and training
