The Role
We're currently looking for a Public and Sexual Health Nurse to provide a broad range of services for patients. These services include identification of patients at risk of Blood Borne Viruses, Sexually Transmitted Infections and Sexual Violence for education, screening, treatment, care escalation and the provision of immunisations.
At the request of the Service Director Population Health, the role may be instructed to assist with outbreak management and priority Public Health activities.
This position is funded as a CNS2 level. If you have a post graduate qualification and at least 3 years' experience working in the sector, you are eligible to apply for the CNS2 grading. If you do not meet the CNS2 criteria, you are still eligible to apply for this position as a Registered Nurse, but with a commitment to undertake the required post graduate qualifications within the next 3 years of being appointed to the position.
