The Project
Genus has been awarded a contract for the design, construction and commissioning of approximately 41 kilometres of underground and overhead power distribution infrastructure at Fortescue's Eliwana mine site.
The Role
Successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Provide daily support and guidance to improve Team performance.
* Supervise, monitor and evaluate personnel to ensure that all work is on schedule, to required quality and client specifications.
* Assist in the creation of electrical and instrumentation Work Packs/Test Packs.
* Ensure all Work Packs and Job Cards are kept up to date and all changes are accounted for in a timely manner.
* Liaise with internal Engineering and Project Teams, as well as external stakeholders, to achieve the Project performance goals.
Essential criteria
* Trade Qualifications in Electrotechnology, Electrical Instrumentation or relevant similar field.
* Valid, unrestricted WA Electrical Workers License.
* Qualifications in Construction Leadership and Supervision.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in supervisory position, ideally in construction and maintenance roles.
* Valid Driver's License - "C" Class"
Desirable criteria
* Experience in the mining sector
* Proficient in Microsoft word
* High Risk Work Licence – WP, DG, RB
* West Australian based
