ICC Sydney is seeking a Research Coordinator to join its community of passionate professionals.
The role involves building the pipeline of leads for potential business meetings, exhibitions and events.
This includes researching clients' websites, meeting calendars and databases to identify opportunities and find contact details.
The ideal candidate will have current knowledge of the hospitality, convention and exhibition industry, as well as excellent communication and writing skills.
They will also be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and use initiative to influence key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build the pipeline of leads for potential national and international business meetings, exhibitions and events.
* Research clients' websites, meeting calendars and databases to identify opportunities and find contact details.
* Undertake search engine research to complete client account details.
* Assist in the analysis of information and determine potential and urgency of collected data for leads generation.
Requirements:
* Current knowledge of hospitality, convention and exhibition industry.
* Working knowledge of MS Office suite.
* High standard of writing and reporting skills.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Well organised and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Proven ability to use initiative.
* Ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders.
