About This Role
Your new role:
* Provide advanced clinical assessment, care planning, coordination and delivery of evidence-based mental health nursing care for consumers with complex needs.
* Deliver expert advice and support regarding mental health service delivery, comprehensive assessments, risk management and application of the Mental Health Act 2016.
* Lead and support multidisciplinary teams through clinical leadership, decision-making, education, mentoring and quality improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to service excellence through participation in research, clinical audits, workforce development and continuous improvement activities.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse with advanced mental health knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person‐centred care in a dynamic clinical environment.
* Demonstrated experience and advanced clinical expertise in contemporary mental health and/or addiction nursing practice, including comprehensive assessment and care planning.
* Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to support and influence positive clinical outcomes.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships with consumers, families and stakeholders.
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration; postgraduate qualifications or enrolment in a relevant postgraduate program will be highly regarded.
