About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team in our new Oncology, Haematology, Palliative Care and General Medical Inpatient Ward at The Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. As a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the growth of our hospital.
* Assist with daily ward operations and ensure the smooth delivery of patient care services;
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes;
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues;
* Pursue opportunities for professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide nursing care to patients according to their individual needs and preferences;
* Conduct assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress;
* Maintain accurate and timely records of patient information;
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team decisions.
Requirements
* A degree in Nursing (Enrolled or Registered) and current registration with AHPRA;
* Minimum two years' experience in acute care, preferably in oncology/haematology/palliative care;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
