Team

As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. Our trades team is growing and we're hiring trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join us. Working at our Edinburgh, SA site, on Kaurna Land, your exciting new career opportunity will see you:

• Work as part of a wider team of trade professionals to carry out servicing and repairs to allocated vehicles that supports an agreed schedule and to defined quality standards and related specifications
• Collaborate with the wider team such as Team Leaders, Maintenance Planners, Project Managers, Logistics, HSE and other Leaders as we all deliver against our commitments and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
• Mentor upcoming trade professionals as you play a significant role in future team capability
• Role model all things safety and proactively highlight potential risks within a culture focused on people

Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications (Heavy Vehicle or similar) coupled with a strong trades background
• Experience in diagnosis, fault finding and fixing mechanical and technical issues with a passion for quality work
• Strong technical knowledge, mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to follow set processes
• Team player and natural problem solver with a high attention to detail in everything you do

Additional Requirements

Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate Defence security clearance. Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre‐employment police and, depending on the role type, medical checks.
