Porter Role
We are seeking a skilled Porter to join our team at Ipswich Hospital.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the stores and facilities team, undertaking portering and manual handling of items around the hospital.
This includes collecting and returning patients to their individual rooms, ensuring that the theatre environment and its equipment are fully functioning, assisting with cleaning of the theatre environment and equipment, working in a fast-moving clinical environment, maintaining constant interaction with the theatre team.
Patient care is paramount; good communication skills are essential to help patients feel relaxed and reassured. Successful applicants will also undergo Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
