The Role

The Program Control Reporting Lead plays a central role in shaping how TasWater understands and delivers its capital program. You'll support the Manager Program Control by leading the coordination and enhancement of reporting that informs decisions across groups, portfolios, programs and projects.

In this role, you'll bring together data, insights and collaboration to help ensure TasWater's capital investment is effectively delivered, monitored and communicated. You'll work closely with Project Delivery teams and Delivery Framework Partners to align reporting processes, strengthen integration and ensure information flows reliably and consistently across a complex delivery environment. This position drives proactive, data‐informed decision‐making, risk management, and performance outcomes.

You will:

* Lead the coordination of portfolio and project reporting cycles, supporting the development of clear, accurate reports covering capital delivery, financial performance, commercial insights, people metrics, and other portfolio-wide measures.
* Develop and analyse capital program data to support informed decision‐making, early identification of risks, and improved performance outcomes.
* Ensure reporting meets commercial and contractual requirements and supports achievement of KPIs, performance targets, and organisational expectations.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and Delivery Framework Partners to interpret reporting outputs, integrate data across systems, and make sure information supports business needs.
* Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems, and analytics within Project Delivery.

What we're looking for

We're seeking a proactive program reporting specialist who can bring clarity, structure, and insight to a large and diverse capital delivery environment. You'll be someone who is confident working with data, collaborating across teams, and helping others understand what the numbers really mean for performance outcomes.

You will bring:

* Relevant qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Mathematics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience gained through practice.
* Proven experience in reporting, modelling, or analytics within a corporate or project‐driven environment, ideally with exposure to capital or infrastructure delivery.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights that support informed decision‐making.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external delivery partners.
* A practical, detail‐focused approach, balanced with the ability to step back and understand the broader program context.
* Confidence in influencing performance outcomes, guiding others through data interpretation, and helping lift reporting maturity across the organisation.

The Details

This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of $131,265 – $145,850 (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
