Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manager to join our expanding hospitality group.

This is a hands‐on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on creating structure, enhancing processes, and working closely with operational leaders to improve business performance. The position will have a strong emphasis on financial management, commercial outcomes, strategic support, and team leadership.

Partnering closely with the Senior Leadership team and Venue Management you will play an integral role in strengthening financial governance, supporting venue performance, managing risk, and developing a high‐performing finance function across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Partner with the leadership team to provide financial insight and commercial support.
* Deliver financial modelling, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision‐making.
* Drive financial accountability and performance across multiple venues.
* Prepare and oversee monthly management reporting and consolidated financial reporting.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and rolling cash flow projections.
* Identify financial risks, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
* Establish and maintain effective internal controls and governance frameworks.
* Oversee cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management.

Systems & Process Improvement

* Improve efficiencies across finance operations and reporting processes.
* Implement scalable systems and reporting frameworks to support business growth.
* Enhance cost control, margin management, and expense governance.
* Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with Finance Team to ensure alignment of systems and standards.

Payroll, Compliance & Statutory Reporting

* Oversee payroll processes and related controls.
* Ensure compliance with all tax, superannuation, payroll, and statutory obligations.
* Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
* Manage tax lodgements and statutory reporting requirements.
* Support compliance, entity structures, and financial governance requirements.

Banking, Assets & Funding

* Assist with banking relationships and finance facility reporting requirements.
* Support funding, refinancing, and capital expenditure activities where required.
* Monitor asset management and depreciation processes.
* Support financial due diligence for acquisitions and new venue opportunities.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

* Lead and mentor finance team members to build a high‐performing finance function.
* Foster a collaborative, commercially focused, and solutions‐driven culture.
* Set clear expectations, accountability measures and development opportunities.
* Partner with operational leaders and stakeholders across the business.
* Maintain strong governance, compliance, and reporting standards.
* Identify and manage financial and operational risks.
* Support audit processes and ongoing risk management initiatives.
* Ensure documentation and reporting processes are maintained to a high standard.
