The Customer Strategy, Technology and Innovation division within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. The Brand and Marketing branch creates engaging end-to-end campaigns and strategies to drive behaviour change, improve safety, save lives on our roads and waterways, encourage public transport use, connect communities, and deliver the transport solutions of the future. We are brave thinkers and great listeners, who do creative, agile work in partnership with Transport's divisions. Our customers are firmly at the centre of every campaign and our work is grounded in deep insight of their needs.
The Brand and Marketing team builds and drives Transport's reputation across the entire NSW State. Customers and employees recognise our brands, and what they stand for. **The Opportunity**
Right now, we are looking for a Publication Editor to join the Brand & Marketing team based at Elizabeth Street Office. We work in a hybrid way, a mixture of working from home and in the office and we offer flexible working arrangements with lots of benefits.
This role is responsible for promoting and uplifting Transport's brand by planning, revising, and coordinating content being published to ensure a consistent standard and narrative that helps to build and maintain long-lasting, ever-present relationships with our customers.
**Key priorities/deliverables include (but are not limited to) the following tasks**:
- Manage the delivery of the Annual Report including liaising with key contacts around Transport to ensure content is delivered accurately, on time and to a high standard.
- Design the contents of publications and collaborate with a range of writers and media teams to support effective delivery of relevant content and information
- Establish high publication standards and goals ensuring alignment with TfNSW publication style, editorial policy, and publishing specifications
- Research and authenticate facts, dates, and statistics to ensure publication of accurate, relevant, reliable and timely Transport information to customers.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure quality standards are met consistently across the business
- Evaluate and approve design proofs submitted by media teams prior to publication
**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in journalism, communications, social media, or related fields.
- Excellent copyediting and proofreading skills
- Project management experience and ability to influence others to meet required deadlines.
- Demonstrated time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical production deadlines
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the agency.

**Salary and Benefits**
The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 9 ($142,178 - $159,238) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
