Job Description
We are seeking a talented storyteller to join our team in Wagga Wagga. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging stories that resonate with our local and national audience.
The successful applicant will have a passion for storytelling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
You will be expected to create compelling stories on multiple platforms, including audio, video, and online. This role requires a deep understanding of our local audience and the issues that matter to them.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to content planning and emergency coverage, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated creative approach to content making
* Deep knowledge of news media and a desire to consume news content across a variety of publications and broadcasters
* Comprehensive understanding of the local audience and issues that matter to the Riverina
* Ability to source and maintain contacts across a broad range, including culturally and linguistically diverse groups
* Enthusiasm to travel to remote locations to tell the stories of people living in those areas
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in journalism or equivalent skills and experience
* Possession of a current and valid Driver's Licence
