* At least 2+ years experience in a similar role with relevant experience;

To be successful in this role you must:
* As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the preparation and production of meals in the restaurant;
* Responsible for food preparation and production;
* Managing and coordinating food supply and stock ordering;
* Assisting the head chef in new menu production, and menu tasting;
* Ensuring effective stock purchasing and waste control;
* Assisting in the training and mentorship of junior and apprentice chefs;
* Oversee the writing and costing of all kitchen rosters via Tanda;
* Set high levels of work ethic standards by adopting a 'Hands On' management style;
* Produce all dishes to a consistent standard;
* Ensure all kitchen activities meet the organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety.
