Our client is a growing Australian owned manufacturing business located in Melbourne's western suburbs. They blend and package a range of powdered milk products for human and animal consumption. Currently they have an opportunity for an experience Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. You will be an integral part of the leadership team, providing valuable input into the planning and coordination of planned, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities.
If successful your role will include, but not be limited to:
- The coordination and safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities
- The coordination and planning of operational involvement and supervision for works
- Sourcing and booking external suppliers as required, ensuring relevant permits and documentation are up to date
- Hands on maintenance as required
To be considered for this role you will:
- Be trade qualified, ideally as a Maintenance Fitter, however other trades may be considered dependant on practical experience
- Have a pro-active nature and can do attitude
- Have a strong safety focus
- Have sound communication skills, both written and verbal
