Initially a 6 month contract highly likely to extend for the right person. Responsibilities:Build understanding of cyber security risk and threat modelling fundamentals.implement secure authentication and authorization systemsDevelop understanding of systems, technologies and processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Conduct reg vulnerability assessments across infrastructure and applications.Develop and enforce secure coding standards and best practices in collaboration with Dev Ops and Engineering.Work closely with Dev Ops to secure AWS and/or Azure environments (IAM, VPCs, security groups, etc.).Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and breaches.Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements Key Skills / Experience3–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles.Experience with authentication protocolsExperience with penetration testing - desirableUnderstanding of security in cloud environments— AWS and/or Azure.Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.) is a plus.Familiarity with common compliance and security frameworks.
