Aircraft Maintenance Professional
Job Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft during scheduled base maintenance.
* Perform structural, mechanical, and avionics system overhauls, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
* Oversee the disassembly and reassembly of major aircraft components, including wings, fuselage, and engines.
Certification & Documentation
* Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) upon satisfactory inspection and testing.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including parts used, modifications made, and compliance with airworthiness directives.
* Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
* Implement quality control procedures to ensure highest standards of maintenance are met.
* Participate in internal and external audits, addressing findings promptly and effectively.
* Stay updated with latest regulatory changes and industry best practices to maintain compliance.
Requirements
1. Hold CASA Part 66 License and ASIC card or be eligible to hold Australian ASIC.
2. Experience in Part 145.
3. Overhaul Workshop experience.
4. Capacity to refer to and interpret specifications/standards and written technical instructions.
5. Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines while part of a team.
6. Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
7. Safety is our top priority, and employment is conditional upon satisfying aviation security and screening procedures.
8. Hold a current Australian drivers license.
9. Experience on Bell Series Helicopters, King Air Gear overhaul, DH6 Twin Otter gear overhaul, or heavy maintenance would be highly regarded.
