About the role
Are you an inspiring educator ready to make a real impact in an alternative education setting? TAFE Gippsland is looking for a passionate, VIT registered teacher to deliver the Victorian Pathways Certificate and/or VCE Vocational Major to a small cohort of senior secondary students. As a teacher you will be responsible for planning, preparation and teaching of programs to achieve student outcomes and curriculum requirements.

o A strong understanding of integrated approaches to vocational education
o You can plan and implement authentic, motivating and, impactful teaching strategies, leveraging technologies to enhance learning experiences
o Ability to monitor and assess student learning, using data to inform teaching practices and provide valuable feedback on student learning growth
o You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to build collaborative relationships with students and colleagues
o A commitment to reflection and continuous professional development, always striving to elevate the quality of your teaching and learning
o A commitment to TAFE Gippsland’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Collaboration and Excellence
Qualifications and experience
o A relevant teaching qualification in either primary or secondary education.
o Previous applied learning teaching experience (desirable but not mandatory)
