About the Project: Carmody's Hill Wind Farm Project

DT Infrastructure has been awarded the full Balance of Plant scope for the Carmody's Hill Wind Farm project in the Mid North region of South Australia.

The 256 MW utility-scale wind farm, developed by Aula Energy and Renewable Project Services, is scheduled to commence construction in early 2026, with operations expected to begin in late 2028.

About the Position

Opportunity for an experienced
Area Manager - Civil
with extensive Bulk Earthworks and Concrete Structures experience to join our Carmody's Hill Wind Farm project. Lead a team of Engineers and work on an iconic Wind Farm in South Australia. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll be accountable for safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery of the Civil and Structures scope. Success is measured through HSE, quality, program, financial and client satisfaction outcomes.

This position is permanent full-time with DTI and you'll have the opportunity to work on future renewable energy projects. This position is a DIDO arrangement 9:5 roster from Adelaide or FIFO 2:1 roster from Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Area Manager – Electrical in regular coordination meetings between internal disciplines, subcontractors, and client representatives.
* Review design deliverables for technical alignment, buildability, and compliance.
* Manage responses to RFIs, design changes, and technical queries.
* Assess design changes for impact on cost, schedule, and risk, and communicate outcomes.
* Ensure design documentation and as-built records align with approved requirements.
* Facilitate collaboration between design, construction, and procurement teams to achieve integrated outcomes.
* Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures to meet financial targets.
* Monitor commercial performance and take proactive action to address variances.
* Lead subcontractor management and contract administration in line with DTI and client requirements.
* Develop and implement an Area Execution Plan that aligns with project and corporate objectives.
* Establish and maintain a baseline program identifying key activities and critical path.
* Provide visible, proactive leadership to project and subcontractor teams.
* Encourage continuous improvement and accountability within project teams.

To be successful:

* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or construction projects, preferably in rail, energy, or renewables.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors within a complex delivery environment.
* Strong background in project management, including cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance.
* Experience managing design–construction interfaces and technical coordination.
* Commercial acumen with demonstrated success in budget, contract, and risk management.
