**About the Role**:
Annual events may include: Orientation Week, Harmony Day, Spring Market Festival, Belonging Fest, apprentice welcome program, trade Industry days, R U OK? Day and other wellness programs, guest speakers, trips and tours around Melbourne.
**Duties**:
- Collaborating with the planning team for events.
- Contributing to the set-up and delivery of events.
- Participating in the evaluation process of events.
- Delivering presentations to promote the SLAM program.
- Engaging in public speaking activities to raise awareness.
- Capturing and recording student events for social media content.
- Being physically active on the job by working on your feet for extended periods.
- Lifting up to 15kg as needed for event support.
- Undertaking additional responsibilities as directed, leveraging the incumbent's experience, skills, and qualifications.

**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Some experience working in events or related
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- To be a team player and take initiative
- Ability to interact and engage with people effectively in both one-on-one situations and in presentations to large groups.
- Ability to photograph/record events whilst engaging with students for content
- Willingness to travel to all campuses
- A current Working with Children Check Card (Employee).
- Successful applicant must be able to attain a Police Check after interview.
