About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficient delivery of regional infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic communication services to technical and professional staff for community engagement, media relations, issues management, public affairs, and stakeholder relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate community and stakeholder engagement for infrastructure projects by developing and implementing effective communication strategies, researching and writing project materials, and managing media enquiries.
* Provide strategic communications advice and support to project directors and staff on community and stakeholder engagement, issues management, risk assessment, and communication strategies.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government officers, industry stakeholders, local business, and the general community.
* Manage the preparation of executive correspondence and communications materials, including researching and writing media statements and responses, ministerial briefings, newsletters, and website content.
* Research and prepare project briefing materials and reporting for leadership and project teams, maintaining integrity and confidentiality.
* Plan, develop, and coordinate key communication activities that contribute to the effective delivery of regional infrastructure projects.
