As they expand their reach, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join their team and drive efficiency and accuracy..
The Logistics Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of inbound inventory stock, aligning processes with business objectives, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Efficiently manage inbound and some outbound inventory stock to meet quality and service objectives within agreed timeframes.
* Implement and oversee new processes to align with business direction and drive operational efficiency.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting for Senior Management, including tracking of external parties.
* Report on stock availability and identify potential high-risk areas and times.
* Develop, lead, and motivate a capable logistics admin team to maintain the highest quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Executive Team to promote awareness and delivery of business objectives.
* Develop and manage external relationships with suppliers to support operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills you will bring:
* 5+ years' experience in a Logistics Manager role including but not limited to dealing with overseas suppliers, major wholesale customers and foreign currencies
* Expertise in Supply Chain management procedures and best practices
* Advanced Excel Skills including pivot tables and vlookups
* Detailed understanding of reporting and analytical processes
* Well-developed relationship management, customer relation skills and negotiation skills
* Proven ability in designing and/or improving processes & procedures
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* MS Office skills - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
