Intern Program 2026/2027 – Hydrology & Hydrogeology – Western Australia
Our 12-week Summer Internship Program is designed to give students hands‐on experience in the Iron Ore business across Western Australia. Participants may be offered a graduate position upon successful completion.
Program Overview
As an intern you will support Hydrology and Hydrogeology projects, contributing to water resource management and environmental solutions. Your role will involve field and laboratory work, data collection and analysis, and teamwork across cross‐functional units.
Eligibility & Entry Requirements
Students who are in the penultimate or final year of a Bachelor or Master program in Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related fields. Candidates must:
* Hold or be pursuing a degree in one of the relevant disciplines.
* Have exposure to water-based units and a keen interest in surface or underground water.
* Be legally eligible to work in Australia or New Zealand (citizens, permanent residents, student or postgraduate work visa holders).
* Be available for FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) and Perth-based opportunities.
Qualifications
* Degree qualifications in Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
* Working towards a Master's degree in Hydrogeology or a water-related engineering discipline with groundwater experience is ideal but not essential.
