About this Role

* Provide safe and enjoyable swimming lessons to children and adults in a group setting.
* Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
* Organize swim school equipment and conduct lessons in accordance with AUSTSWIM guidelines.
* Work independently and as part of a team to improve service delivery.
* Keep accurate records of learn to swim classes.
* Plan and deliver lessons that meet the individual needs of participants.
About You
* You will need to hold a current Austswim Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent.
* A Current CPR Certificate is also required.
* A Current Senior First Aid Certificate would be an advantage.
* If over 18, you will need a Current Working with Children Check.
* You must demonstrate a commitment to honesty and integrity.
* You must also have a commitment to Work Health and Safety.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in Learn to Swim Programs would be advantageous.
* An Austswim Certificate – Teacher of Aquatics for People with Disabilities, competitive strokes or equivalent could be beneficial.
* A Level 1 Australian Swimming Coaching Qualification could also be useful.
* A Class C Drivers Licence would be an advantage.
* Previous experience in the aquatics industry could enhance your application.
* You should have good oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to problem solve and work within a team environment is essential.
* A high level of customer service delivery skills with energy and enthusiasm would be beneficial.
Benefits
* Casual rate between $19.22 and $40.24 per hour, depending on age, skills, qualifications and experience.
