Video Editor
to join our team and help elevate the quality, clarity, and cultural relevance of our output.
The Opportunity
Do you love shaping raw footage into something refined, intentional, and with feeling? Are you an editor with strong design instincts who knows when motion adds value, and when restraint is the better call?
Stacked is looking for an
Editor/Motion Designer
who can take ownership of edits end-to-end, while using motion design to enhance storytelling, brand expression, and visual polish. This role is primarily
editing-led
, with motion design used thoughtfully to support clarity, pace, and tone.
You'll play a key role in how our work looks, feels, and shows up in the world, helping ensure our content feels current, confident, and culturally aligned.
As an Editor at Stacked, you will:
* Edit commercial, corporate, and digital video content from rough assembly through to final delivery
* Shape strong narratives through pacing, structure, music and rhythm
* Use After Effects to enhance edits with titles, supers, transitions, and simple animated elements
* Apply strong design judgement across typography, layout and visual hierarchy
* Work from creative direction and brand guidelines to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
* Balance creative ambition with timelines, scope and production realities
* Collaborate closely with producers, creatives and project stakeholders
* Bring cultural awareness and trend fluency to help guide how our work shows up in the world

Skills, Experience & Attributes
We're looking for an editor with strong judgement, taste, and practical motion capability.
You'll bring:
* Proven experience as a
Video Editor
(commercial and/or corporate work)
* Working knowledge of
After Effects
for practical motion design
* Strong design sentiment: typography, spacing, rhythm, and restraint
* Confidence managing edits independently from brief to delivery
* An understanding of culture, trends, and what "good" looks like right now
* Clear communication skills and the ability to take and give feedback well
Nice to have:
* Experience working within brand systems
* Familiarity with social-first and campaign content
* Interest in storytelling, strategy, and brand expression
* Graphic Design experience
* 3D animation experience
* Experience with Figma and Photoshop
