Harvey Legal is seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancer to join our growing team in Mackay.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, client-focused, and confident managing residential conveyancing files from start to finish. You will be joining a supportive and professional firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of conveyancing matters, including:
* carriage of residential sale and purchase files from commencement through to settlement;
* liaising with clients, agents, brokers, banks and other solicitors;
* preparing and reviewing conveyancing documentation;
* managing key dates and ensuring files progress efficiently;
* attending to PEXA settlements;
* providing a high level of client service and communication throughout the transaction.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* previous experience in a conveyancing role desired;
* the ability to manage files with a high level of autonomy;
* strong attention to detail and organisational skills;
* excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* a professional and friendly manner with clients and colleagues;
* experience using PEXA and practice management systems;
* the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
