About The Role

Are you a confident communicator looking for a defined career pathway in sales?

Akura is on the hunt for a specialist to join our amazing team in our Bathurst or Rhodes office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the phone, enjoys the chase of finding new leads, and plays a key role in driving sales growth.

You'll be at the frontline of our business development efforts — making outbound calls, qualifying leads utilising multiple platforms, setting appointments, following up with prospects across the Eastern Seaboard and updating our CRM system. You'll engage directly with investors, developers, builders, and owner-occupiers, helping to build the pipeline for our sales team and ensuring no opportunity is left unturned. You will be supported with training by our lead generation guru to set you up for success.

This role is fast-paced, phone-heavy, and results-driven! You are a puzzle master bringing all the pieces together to generate growth for the business. Your main focus will be cold calling, lead generation, and driving conversions, and you will help coordinate follow-ups and support broader sales and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and qualify new Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and convert to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
* Research and capture decision-maker details and project information.
* Conduct phone and email outreach to assess project needs and timelines.
* Maintain CRM accuracy with daily updates and consistent follow-up.
* Provide market and customer feedback to the Sales and Marketing teams.
* Support handover of qualified opportunities to Project Consultants.
* Participate in ongoing sales and communication training.
