Conservation Partners Wanted
We're seeking enthusiastic individuals to collaborate with us in preserving and maintaining City managed reserves.
Key Responsibilities:
* Nurturing native flora through planting and maintenance
* Upkeep of paths and surrounding areas
* Grant management and equipment maintenance support
* Learning and identification of local flora and fauna
Volunteers will be accompanied by experienced City Environmental Officers, providing access to necessary tools and vests. A moderate level of physical fitness is required, along with personal gear such as long pants, enclosed shoes, gloves, and hats.
Commitment Expectations:
* Prolonged – more than 6 months
Flexibility is key; volunteers can choose their involvement frequency, whether daily or monthly.
