(AO4) * 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading * 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation * Plus great Salary Packaging options to increase take-home pay * Flexible working arrangements may be available About your opportunity The purpose of this position is to: * Connect to consumers, carers and staff providing a positive example of recovery and as a source of information on mental health and/or substance use challenges, navigating the service system, and the recovery journey. * Utilise your lived experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges and recovery to assist in the development and delivery of consumer and carer support groups, psycho education programs and other recovery-oriented information sessions for consumers and their carers and families. * Build connections with the local community, service providers and other stakeholders to assist consumers, their families, kin and carers to build their support networks. Requirements: * Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), there is a genuine occupational requirement for the successful applicant to have a personal lived/living experience of mental illness and/or substance use challenges.
