HR Business Partner (Part Time)
Parramatta | Onsite | Circa $130K + Super (Pro-Rata)
We're partnering with a growing organisation in distribution to recruit a capable and confident HR Business Partner. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with genuine ownership, autonomy, and the ability to influence leadership and culture during a period of growth and organisational change. This position offers flexibility across 3 days per week with onsite presence in Parramatta.
About the Role
Reporting directly into senior leadership, you'll act as a trusted advisor across the business, providing hands-on and strategic HR support. You'll partner on the full employee lifecycle with a strong focus on employee relations, coaching managers, managing change processes, and driving engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working autonomously and is confident navigating complex conversations.
Key Responsibilities
• Full generalist support across the employee lifecycle
• Managing complex ER matters including grievances, investigations, and performance management
• Coaching and advising managers to build leadership capability
• Supporting organisational change, restructures and managing-out processes where required
• Leading culture and engagement activities including surveys and feedback loops
• Overseeing recruitment workflows and supporting leaders to hire for capability and fit
• Drafting and maintaining employment contracts, policies, and HR documentation
• Ensuring compliance with Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and relevant legislation
• Maintaining data, reporting and HR workflows within Employment Hero
About You
We're looking for someone confident, grounded, and commercially aware, with the ability to operate independently and influence at all levels. You'll bring:
• Senior HR Business Partner or HR Lead experience
• Strong exposure to ER/IR and handling sensitive people matters
• Demonstrated capability in coaching and developing leaders
• Ability to work autonomously and establish HR structure
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics or similar
• Experience with Employment Hero is advantageous
