The Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program aims to reduce crash severity and frequency on the highway, particularly between Gympie and Cairns. As a key initiative in this program, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead the development phase.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the project to ensure completion in accordance with timeframes, cost, quality, and service standards.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the project development and design phase of the project.
* Manage the project team, consultants, and contractors to deliver results within predetermined time, cost, and quality specifications.
* Monitor and report on project progress against established performance metrics.
* Provide specialist advice to senior management on all aspects of the project and make technical presentations as required.
* Investigate and resolve complex engineering issues associated with the project to improve overall performance and ensure value for money.
