Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technician, based in Eagle Farm, QLD. The Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of security alarms, access control systems, intercoms, and CCTV/HD camera systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with team members, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and accurately completing relevant documentation. The role also involves working directly with clients to ensure their security needs are met.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of security alarms, access control systems, and CCTV/HD camera systems
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for resolving system malfunctions
* Technical proficiency in operating, wiring, and programming security systems
* Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
* Ability to read technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals
* Familiarity with industry safety standards and practices
* A valid driver's license is required
* Certifications or training in electronic security systems or a related field is advantageous
* Valid Security and Cabling Licenses
* Experience in commercial security installations
