The Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will walk alongside individuals living with psychosocial disabilities, providing support that enhances emotional wellbeing, independence, and community engagement.
You’ll be part of a passionate and collaborative team where you’re recognized for your contribution—not just as a number, but as a valued individual making a real difference.
What We Are Looking For
Experience in working with individuals with psychosocial disabilitiesand behaviours of concern, including physical and verbal aggression, emergency services engagement, restrictive practices, and trauma-informed care.
A compassionate, calm, and grounded approach to supporting participants.
Reliability, professionalism, and strong personal values that align with our mission.
Clear and respectful communication skills with confidence in providing tailored support.
A current Working with Children Check (essential) and NDIS Worker Screening Check(essential).
Industry experience is required for these roles.
Your Responsibilities
Provide personalized support with daily living and self-care.
Encourage participants to build skills, confidence, and positive routines.
Assist participants in attending appointments, events, and engaging with the community.
Maintain accurate records and report any changes or concerns.
Foster safe, respectful, and empowering spaces where participants can thrive.
Adhere to all NDIS practice standards.
