About the role
We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our thriving team at DV TRADING GROUP PTY LTD trading as AMPOL COBRAM, VIC. As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our Retail business.
What you'll be doing
1. Manage the overall store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and budgeting
2. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of fuels, improve profitability, and enhance the customer experience.
3. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates, providing coaching and training as needed.
4. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, workplace safety, fuel standards and HSSC policies and Australian industry regulations.
5. Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Collaborate with the broader management team to contribute to the overall success of the business.
What we're looking for
1. Extensive experience in a retail management role, preferably within the fuel and Retail industry.
2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
3. Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to create a positive shopping environment.
4. Proficient in data analysis and using performance metrics to drive decision-making.
5. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving retail environment.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
