Deflectormine consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160kmeast of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complexlodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector Southwest deposits.
Supply Supervisor
Reportingto the Site Service Superintendent, the
Supply Supervisor
is responsiblefor providing daily leadership and ensuring the safe, effective, and efficientoperation of the Deflector Warehouse store facility. This role also involvesdelivering essential support to key stakeholders to ensure business continuity.
The position willbe offered as an
8:6 FIFO
roster from
Perth or DIDO from Geraldton
andsurrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Managing dailysupply operations for the deflector mine and assigning tasks to storestaff.
Operateforklift within design and safety specifications.
Utiliseinventory and procurement systems i.e. Pronto as per company procedures.
Follow SDSrequirements for dangerous goods storage and handling.
Liaise withsuppliers regarding supply agreements
Review &write Warehouse Department Procedures
InventoryControl – ANSI stock code creating, review stock MIN/MAX & slow-moving& obsolete Stock W
Implementdaily cyclic stocktakes
AssistAccounts team with invoice enquiries
AssistSuperintendent with all month end reporting such as stock evaluationreports & mining stock movement
Attending thedaily operational morning meetings with senior management
Producereports from Pronto when requested and provide continuous training on howto use Pronto.
Reviewsuppliers for best pricing & quality of stock items.
Identify continuouswarehouse maintenance of main store & yard improvements
Ensure alldelivery vehicles are unloaded in a safe manner and all team members areappropriately ticketed and experienced in the safe operation of mobileequipment.
About You
Minimum of 4 years' experience in Supply Supervisory position within the mining environment.
Previous experience in coordinating reorderprocesses, conducting regular stock takes, processing receipts and maintainingmaster data integrity.
Managing rotable spare parts processes, addressinginventory obsolescence, and valuing floor stock.
WHS for Statutory Supervisor Training/Qualification(Schedule 26).
Working knowledge of the processes and proceduresrelated to warehouse compliance.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, Citect, PRONTO andChemalert.
Hold a current WA C Class driver's license and HighRick work licence Forklift.
Ability to generate monthly reports and perform reconciliations
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, including attention to detail.
