Key Position: Head Curator
The role of Head Curator is a senior position within the institution, responsible for overseeing the conceptual development of temporary and permanent exhibitions. The incumbent will lead a team of curators in delivering engaging exhibition programs, drawing on loans and licensed materials as well as the presentation of the institutional collection.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the history of the moving image and attendant screen culture, with experience managing creative staff. They will have a proven track record in delivering high quality audience-centric visitor experiences, and be able to create innovative and bold experiences for diverse audiences.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to manage stakeholders across various industries. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field and significant experience in exhibition development, curation and project management are essential requirements for this position.
