Experienced conveyancers are sought after to join a property-focused business based in Melbourne, working closely with a collaborative legal and commercial team.
This is a hands-on role that offers scope for taking ownership of matters, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to the smooth delivery of a growing pipeline of property deals.
About This Opportunity
* Manage day-to-day conveyancing files from instruction through to settlement
* Liaise with clients, banks, real estate agents, and other legal representatives to coordinate transactions
* Draft and prepare contracts of sale, vendor statements, transfer documents, letters, etc
* Conduct property and title searches using online platforms
* Calculate settlement figures and coordinate booking with all parties involved
* Handle electronic settlements through PEXA
* Use LEAP to manage files and workflow efficiently
* Answer phone and email enquiries related to conveyancing matters
* Perform conveyancing-related administrative tasks as required
* Operate and maintain trust receipt records
About You
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in conveyancing (in-house or private practice)
* A sound understanding of Victorian property law and conveyancing procedures
* Proficiency in PEXA and LEAP
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Clear and professional communication skills
* The ability to manage files autonomously and meet deadlines
* Confidence in using Excel and maintaining trust-related records
