Job Summary
Cleaner role at a government institution. Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.
* Perform general cleaning duties including sanitizing toilets, sick bays and high-touch surfaces.
* Clean equipment, windows, furniture and floors (buffing, stripping and polishing).
* Manage waste disposal, graffiti removal and cobweb control.
* Maintain outdoor areas, paved surfaces, drains and gutters.
* Activate security systems and unlock buildings as required.
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and qualifications:
* Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role.
* Ability to lift heavy items and work at heights.
* Basic knowledge of cleaning products and procedures.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
