The Registrar has operational oversight of the College's enrolment processes and strives to develop a strong sense of community and belonging to support students and their families.
Providing an exceptional level of service to and engagement with those supporting children starting their education and/or those with students embarking on new enrolment pathways, the Registrar builds meaningful relationships with wider community members including parents, carers, siblings and extended family members as well as productive relationships internally, with colleagues.
Playing an important role in ensuring the process for enrolling students is thoughtful and streamlined, the Registrar is both collaborative, detailed and data oriented and informative. As a key person providing advice, both internally and externally, the Registrar supports all stakeholders involved in the decision-making processes that inform enrolments.
The position
* Full time, 38 hours per week
* Fixed term contract commences 18 February 2026 to 7 August 2026. Replacing a staff member on long service leave.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to:
* As a member of the Operational Leadership Team, serve as a key contributor to planning and advisory matters for the Board and deploy with leadership oversight matters relating to the day-to-day business operations of the College.
* Implementation of the strategic plan through operational plans and priorities, specific to the scope of the role and the areas of responsibility and ensure risk is mitigated, so the department's goals are able to support the long-term vision and sustainability of the College.
* Manage the enrolment process from initial enquiry through to admission and maintain up-to-date enrolment data.
* Prepare offers of enrolment, as approved by the Principal, and manage the end of enrolment process.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date enrolment data from initial enquiry to admission and provide.
* Organise and conduct tours and open events within the College.
* Oversee the administrative processes relating to withdrawal of students and contribute to the accurate maintenance of student/family databases.
* Provide reports, recommendations, policies and procedural advice to the Principal, leadership teams, and external agencies, as required, including for state and federal data submissions (Census).
* Serve as an administrative member of the Scholarships Panel, by managing lists, recommending offers and accurately maintaining data throughout the scholarship cycle.
* Prepare and present reports to the Principal and Board, as required on College population statistics including future projections and competitor analysis comparisons.
* Assist the Principal and Business Manager in the preparation of budgets, in the forecasting of performance against budgets and in any review and reporting processes as they relate to each annual budget.
* On a daily basis, connect our purpose, aspirations, values and priorities with policy and practice so as to contribute to, uphold and model the strategic aspirations of the College.
* Coach and develop team members, from a solutions-focused perspective with a focus on improvement and enrichment and resolve conflict, review performance and provide mentoring to support team members to thrive by ensuring accountabilities and delegations are clear.
* Continually review the structure, processes, policies and practices within the delegated portfolio of responsibilities and dimensions of the role.
What do I need for the role?
* Bachelor Degree in an area such as business, marketing or education or another relevant field and/or significant experience in a similar role in an independent P-12 College, university or similar training/education organisation.
* Ability to track data through the lenses of trends and forecasts so as to provide strong advice to College leadership.
* Demonstrated ability to create positive and welcoming experiences for students and families with a unique ability to handle difficult conversations and situations with confidentiality, sensitivity and empathy.
* Customer focus, demonstrated by a track record of being able to pursue strong relationships that nurture consultation, collaboration and transparency.
* Experience in TASS/Funnel preferable.
Mandatory Clearances/Certifications
* Blue Card, in accordance with 'No Card, No Link, No Start', as per the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000
* Current First Aid qualification (or the ability to obtain first aid qualification)
