About the role
Mantra Mackay is seeking a Gardener / Handyperson to join their team in Mackay Harbour. This is a casual position where you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and assisting with general property maintenance.
What you'll be doing
* Performing regular gardening and landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting
* Caring for and maintaining the resort's gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces
* Undertaking general property maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, and cleaning
* Assisting with various handyman duties as needed to ensure the resort is well-maintained
* Providing exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment for our guests
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or general property maintenance
* Strong practical skills and the ability to carry out a variety of handyman tasks
* Prior experience in pool and spa care and general maintenance an advantage
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
* Good customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility to work across multiple venues if required and availability across 7 days, weekends and public holidays as required
